Environmental Policy

TRL's environmental philosophy and policies are based upon the perspective of long term Alaskans who have a deep and abiding respect for the Great Land and her People. Our principals have worked to create concepts that reduce the impact of alluvial mining, yet improve gold recovery.

The Synergistic Recovery System™, a biodegradable leaching system that was the focus of an R&D effort from 1981-1984 promised higher gold recovery from high sulfide ores. Terra Wash™ was developed in response to an appeal by the Alaska Dept. of Environmental Conservation during the Exxon Valdez disaster of 1991. TRL has the rights to Terra Wash™ giving TRL its own environmental reclamation concept that has worked jobs in the private sector and both State and federal gov't levels.

The experience of our principals and our mining and environmental reclamation concepts allow us to meet strict regulatory compliance standards. Alaska's laws are very strict and compliance is necessary if one to be successful in Alaska.

Our policy is to always work to meet regulatory standards and to have the least impact upon the environment as possible. We live in Alaska, this is our home and the future of our families. We will always act in the best interests of the people and State of Alaska. We will exercise the same respect no matter where we operate in the world.
