TRL's Small Arms Firing Range remediation system uses the Arctic Miner™ Gravimetric Recirculating Recovery System. The TW10HM was first built in 2004 for a project in Hawaii on Oahu at the Halawa Naval Pistol Range. The TW10HM has been used since in HI at Puuloa Marine Rifle Range for phase 1 of the expansion and improvement project.
The TW10HM was designed to be moved in a 40FT connex. The unit collapses to a travel package that is 7FT 6IN X 7FT 6IN X 26FT long. The entire package with conveyors takes 3 connexes to move anywhere in the world.
The TW10HM has worked military pistol and rifle ranges and a civilian shotgun range closeout--including winter operations.
Any Arctic Miner™ can be adapted to be used for a heavy metals gravimetric recovery unit, giving a wide range of potential production capability from 10 CY/hr to several hundred cubic yards per hour.
